Itinerary
Day 1
EL CHALTEN Welcome to Patagonia. Transfer from El Calafate airport to El Chaltén, stop for lunch before you check in to your lodge in the forest. Briefing and welcome dinner.
Day 2
GLACIAR CAGLIERO Hike in a forest of Lenga trees, up to magnificent views of the Cagliero Glacier. Then on to a high lagoon, Laguna Rosa. Return to dinner at the lodge.
Day 3
LAGUNA MILODON Learn about the past impact of cattle breeding on the land. Explore wetlands and nesting sites of the Torrent duck.
Day 4
LAGUNA DE LOS TRES. Drive to the beginning of the trail, hike up to the lagoon to move close to the Fitz Roy Massif. Hike back to El Chaltén.
Day 5
PATAGONIA MILKY RIVERS A day to choose between rafting, hiking or kayak in the milky waters of the river that connects Viedma and Argentino lakes.
Day 6
PERITO MORENO GLACIER Is one of the worlds Natural Wonders, see it from water level in a kayak, then from a small boat and finally from the catwalks hoping to capture the magnificent ice calving.
Day 7
EL CALAFATE Morning transfer to the airport or by land to Torres del Paine in Chile. Optional add on: 2 days at an Estancia on Lago Argentino.
